Sacrificial
Pregnancy is so incredibly taxing. It is often glorified, and while the celebrations are so public, the discourse on the toll it takes on the expectant is often overlooked or kept private. Every single one of us here today, is here at the expense of the person who carried us to term. This doesn’t give them ownership over us, but we owe them the minimum of an acknowledgement of their sacrifices.
