Ponderance of Eve
I find the historical connection of snakes and women fascinating. So often the stories portray the combination as evil. But did the serpent not share truth and knowledge with Eve? Do the snakes of Medusa’s hair not keep her company and protect her from men? Maybe the combination is seen as evil because it represents a woman no longer controlled or in fear.
